LG C333 Triple-SIM Handset Review and Price in Kenya

Triple-SIM handsets may not be as popular as Dual-SIM or even Single-SIM handsets but that doesn’t warrant ignorance considering the success of available few. Since the word went round about LG’s intention of unveiling C333 in the country, we were more excited considering the power and convenience associated with Triple-Chip devices; literally, I could use a Safaricom, Orange and Airtel simcard on a single handset, if that’s not cool, then that word  is probably not used appropriately. LG C333 Triple-Chip phone will not elicit additional excitement beyond the ‘tri’ feature, especially on those folks who have already tested an Android, Blackberry or an iOS device; it has basic features for basic telephony services. It’s a feature handset, this would probably turn off most techies out there, but a lower price tag effectively waters down that element, especially for budget shoppers looking for basic telephony functionality.

LG C333 Triple-SIM handset may not be as bad as we may think after all; in fact, it tops many devices within its price range. Besides a 2.3 inch display screen, there’s a QWERTY keypad on the front panel that’ll let you key in text messages at a super-fast speed. In between the screen and QWERTY keypad is a large navigation button that’s surrounded by call button, end call button and two selection keys. Its housing is majorly plasticky though not as weird as most Samsung phones tent to be. The phone doesn’t have the best camera we’ve seen; however, a 3.2MP camera located at its back panel is capable of snapping decent photos of your mates in broad daylight, images captured in darker conditions may not be worth keeping. LG C333 Triple-SIM phone operates only on 2G networks, so expect a throttled internet speed which’s not a surprise when everything is fairly scrutinized. This phone is a Triple SIM device, that’s its major selling point, its best suited for persons who would rather benefit from services offered by different service providers without necessarily having a phone for each SIM card.
There’s 78.4 MB internal storage which can be extended with an external MicroSD card of up to 8GB. LG C333 has a LED blinker which alerts the user with a different light ranging from Red, Green or Blue matching the respective SIM card. You wouldn’t miss on social networks as LG integrated facebook, twitter and gmail on this device.
