Samsung Unveils Galaxy S5690 Xcover Android Smart Phone

The latest addition to Samsung S5690 Xcover series is a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover smart phone featuring Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system. In an effort to spicy up Galaxy S5690 Xcover, Samsung promises a completely dust and water proof handset with IP67 standard certification. Just incase you run a risk of dropping your handset, Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover is shock resistant. Going outside the box, Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover comes with more features and functionality compared with its Xcover series siblings which bases solely on calling and text functions.

I would say a 3.2megapixel camera looks a little inferior on Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover but standard to capture up to 2048x1536pixel images which is not that bad. Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover has a 3.65 capacitive scratch resistant display screen capable of producing up to 16m colors. If you ask me, Galaxy S5690 Xcover looks pretty much as a heavy duty smart phone considering scratch resistant screen, shock resistant, dust and water proof features. In comparison to other Xcover series models, Galaxy S5690 Xcover is 3G enabled meaning fast internet connection speed.
Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover comes pre-installed with Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system which is a plus to its damage resistant abilities considering available Android applications from an extensive market. Applications supported by Android v2.3 Gingerbread which come pre-installed on Samsung Galaxy S5690 Xcover include; Google search, Gmail, YouTube, Google talk and Picasa integration.
