    • Cost: KES 700/month
    • HD quality streaming on laptop, TV, phone, or tablet.
    • Allows usage on one screen/device at a time.
  3. Standard Plan:
    • Cost: KES 1,100/month
    • HD quality streaming on multiple devices.
    • Allows two screens/devices simultaneously.
  4. Premium Plan:
    • Cost: KES 1,450/month
    • Ultra HD streaming on various devices.
    • Allows usage on four screens/devices simultaneously.

How to Pay for Netflix in Kenya via M-PESA:

Before discovering this nifty feature, Netflix’s only known payment here in Kenya was limited to credit/debit cards or linking M-PESA to a PayPal account. However, a new partnership between M-PESA and Visa has streamlined the process with the introduction of Mpesa Global Pay option. This allows users to obtain a Virtual Card and use it to pay for Netflix. Here’s how to activate the card:

M-PESA App:

  1. Log in to your M-PESA.
  2. Select the “Pay” tab.
  3. Choose “GlobalPay” and opt-in.
  4. Select your card.
  5. Enter your PIN.
  6. You will receive an SMS with the card number and expiry date.

Alternative M-PESA App Method:

  1. Select “Grow.”
  2. Choose the “GlobalPay” tab to Opt-In.
  3. Select your card.

M-PESA USSD (*334#):

  1. Dial *334#.
  2. Select “Lipa na M-PESA” (Option 6).
  3. Choose “M-PESA GlobalPay” (Option 5).
