Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook Laptop

Toshiba has not been left behind in the scramble for first slots in the Ultrabooks market segment, the manufacturer has introduced what is considered as one of its ultrasexy, ultraslim Toshiba Portege Z830 laptop. Toshiba Portege Z830 joins Lenovo IdeaPad U300s, and Acer Aspire 3951 to record first entrance laptops meeting the Ultrabook description. It has a 13.3 inch display panel just like its competitors from Lenovo and Acer; in addition, Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook is 0.63 inch thick and weighs only 2.5 pounds meeting the Intel’s laid down platform for Ultrabook category of laptops. After decades of Apple’s dominance in the ultra slim cheap laptops market with products such as Apple MacBook, the market segment is headed for a major show down as industry players strive to introduce their own products with significantly improved performance power to outshine and outperform competitors.

Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook features a 13.3 inch (1366×768 pixels) Led backlit display panel and a spill resistant keyboard. It should also be noted that after Intel laid down the Ultrabook specifications for manufacturers, it’s been a while until PC makers started producing compliant Ultrabooks; according to Toshiba, they have managed to meet limitations laid down by Intel with a more advanced and performance efficient Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook boasting of an improved sound system compared to other laptops in its genre. In addition to manufacturer’s compliance with strict specifications on its Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook, the laptop is competitively low priced as expected providing a better bargain to outshine and outsmart competitors. It has a slim light design offering an efficient technology designated to reduce heat, noise and energy consumption.
Just like Lenovo IdeaPad U300s and Acer Aspire 3951, Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook comes with Intel’s Core i3, i5 or i7 processor options and a Solid State Drive (SSD). In addition, it features two USB ports; 1 2.0 USB Port and 1 3.0 USB Port, 3.0 USB Port technology has a significantly faster data transfer rate (more than ten times) than that of 2.0 USB technology. In what looks like a viable tweak from its competitors, Toshiba Portege Z830 Ultrabook comes with finger print reader option on B2B model.
