Huawei Mobile to officially unveil the FreeBuds 4i in Kenya

Huawei Mobile Kenya has revealed plans to launch the FreeBuds 4i in Kenya starting early June 2021. The company looks to tap into the growing wireless earphones market that has seen entrance of quality headphones at amazingly low prices. When Apple introduced the Airpods, it was just a matter of time before other manufacturers jumped on the wagon and Huawei is amongst those doing tremendously well in the segment.

The company promises to deliver immersive and quality music experience with its next iteration in the wireless headsets segment. Early reviews indicate the pair can offer reasonable music experience, thanks to handy inbuilt features such as active noise cancelling capabilities as well as a long-lasting battery.

FreeBuds 4i comes with an attractive design that is packed into a compact and stylish housing. It will be joining other wireless earbuds from the company that include FreeBuds 3pro with a current price tag of Kshs 25,000, Huawei FreeBuds 3 going for Kshs 20,000 and Huawei FreeBuds 3i which is available at Kshs 11,000.

While speaking on the expected launch, Huawei mobile Kenya country head Jim Zhujie acknowledged the existence of an increasing trend towards dedicated audio solutions in the country, owing to growing music services in the country. Zhujie further noted an influx of wireless headphones which he attributed to the current trend that are geared toward solving everyday music experience needs.

With Huawei’s credible reputation in wireless headsets, the company hopes to tap more consumers into its ecosystem with the launch of Huawei FreeBuds 4i. The HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i will be available in all retail stores across the country including our Experience Stores at Yaya Center, TRM, Sarit Center and the Village Market.
