Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duos in Kenya (Review)

Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duos has been retailing in Kenya for quite sometime now, amazing consumers with its dual SIM capability and a professionally designed QWERTY keyboard. The handset is featured among entry level devices; which is a good thing for budget strained consumers despite its flourished serious specifications that exceed benchmarks in its genre. Samsung dint hesitate to outline the main strongholds of Chat322/GT-C3222 which include dual SIM capability, QWERTY keyboard and an amazingly low price tag compared with other devices featured in the same arena. On top of the aforementioned specifications, Samsung [email protected]/GT-C3222 Duos elicits genuine admiration when it comes to social networking; widgets for major social networks such as Facebook and Twitter have been carefully integrated within its operating system and can be accessed from the home screen.

After some minor physical hardware examinations, you’ll notice the handset maker’s unmatched expertise in quality hardware which has evidently trickled down from its high-end devices such as Galaxy S2 to a budget Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duos handset. Besides its illusive QWERTY keyboard, the device features an optical trackpad which makes menu navigation a pleasant experience and the chrome strip around the body makes it look up market. Despite an attractive shiny plastic which contributes in bulk to Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duo’s back presenting a nice feel, it’s prone to scratches and as such should be carefully handled. On the left hand side of Samsung [email protected]/GT-C3222 Duos is a volume rocker which adds a normal combination to the handset when held and is easy to use even when not looking at the phone. On the right hand side of the handset is Samsung’s typical screen switch off button, the centrally placed optical trackpad is well calibrated and does not disappoint; it works smoothly and menu navigation issues were hardly noticed.
Around the optical trackpad of Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duos are four short cut keys which execute their respective functions normally with a simple touch. Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duos definitely earned its bragging rights from the QWERTY keyboard and dual SIM capability, I found the keys rather too hard for a normal press, they require a bit of an effort to type. Dual SIM feature allows two separate SIM cards i.e. in Kenya, Safaricom and Yu to be active at the same time on a single handset. Besides other menu items are social widgets such as Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo messenger and MSN messenger which can be accessed from the home screen.
Samsung [email protected]/GT-C3222 Duos Features/Specifications;
