LG X350 Dual SIM TV/Neo Smart, Ft. Digital Mobile TV (ISDB-T)

LG X350 comes with Dual SIM capability, QWERTY keyboard and a digital TV receiver, a combination hardly available in the industry even on high-end devices. There is a reasonable similarity between LG X350 and its peer Samsung Chat322/GT-C3222 Duosthough it adds ISDB-T digital TV receiver flavor on top; they both brag of a QWERTY keyboard and Dual SIM capability for GSM networks. It’s presumed LG’s main motivation to unveil X350/Neo Smart phone featuring some of the most flourished features yet at an unbeatable price is the continued emergence of cheap Chinese made handsets that house serious specifications only witnessed on high-end devices. As of now, there are hardly any mobile handsets with a combination of the aforementioned features especially in the budget genre, LG X350 Dual SIM TV is unique in that respect.

Apparently, LG’s own initiative to introduce a new market segment entailing handsets with ISDB-T Digital TV capability was fuelled by the expected embrace of digital TV transmission across the globe. Unlike DVB-H mobile TV platform which is available in Kenya (Mombasa and Nairobi) courtesy of Dstv Mobile and the common analog platform, LG X350 utilizes Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial (ISDB-T) platform to receive digital TV signals. Apart from the TV feature and Dual SIM capability, the handset maker was keen to include major social networking applications such as Facebook and Twitter within its operating system, so you can stay abreast with your friends and family. The entertainment part of LG X350 is well covered considering available applications to play music, FM radio and video clips, not forgetting the mobile TV feature. It has a 2.0 Megapixel camera though runs short of flash and auto-focus capability, users can still achieve reasonable image quality during daytime.
The handset features a 2.3inch (320x240pixels) TFT screen with 174ppi pixel density that’s enough to display crisp and vivid text and images especially for the TV feature. LG X350 Dual SIM TV supports up to 8GB MicroSD card and comes with a 2GB memory card onboard, you’ll also be able to access internet on your device via GPRS; some features such as 3G had to be compromised to ascertain its affordability. On the top left-side of the phone is an antenna which can be pulled outside for clear TV reception and pushed inside when not in use. On the left-side of the phone is a microUSB port with a protective cover.
