Asus UX21 and UX31 Ultrabooks

Ultrabooks computing segment is becoming popular by day with major industry players striving to produce unmatched devices; Asus has unveiled UX21 and UX31 ultrabooks joining the likes of Acer Aspire 3951, Lenovo IdeaPad U300s and Toshiba Portege Z830 to become one of the pioneers in this laptop’s genre. Ultrabook genre was identified by Intel to refer to thin, light and cheap laptops running on Solid State Drives; apparently, Asus plans to introduce several laptops falling in the Ultrabook category, but first starting with 11.6 inch UX21 Ultrabook and 13.3 inch UX31 ultrabook. Ultrabooks have significant improvements compared to Intel’s Atom powered netbooks; unlike netbooks, ultrabooks have a higher screen resolution, attractive design, faster processors and weighs slightly less than netbooks do; although current ultrabooks on the market are mostly first generation, its expected high end ultrabooks will start trickling to the market soon.
