Nokia 100 and 101 Cell Phones Unveiled in Kenya

Just a day after Nokia introduced its latest Nokia 701, Nokia 700 and Nokia 600 high end smart phones running on the upgraded version of Symbian Belle, two more handsets have been introduced, though targeting a totally different market segment. The latest development from Nokia clearly indicates their stand in their efforts to diversify target market with hope of involving all potential consumers. We’ve all been witnessing major industry players unveiling what is considered as lavish high end Android smart phones with no regard to the budget depressed consumers; Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 clearly have their target market identified and offers some very attractive features such as dual Sim support.

Despite all the madness and craziness associated with high end smart phones, entry level cell phones such as Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 will stay forever; I mean look at it this way, even in strong economies, we have disparities separating the rich and the poor and by all means I don’t intend to suggest Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 belong to the poor. Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 handsets are obviously targeting the developing market; first we don’t expect them in the US as Nokia has discontinued its Symbian devices in the country. These two devices can offer some of the features hardly available on Android powered smart phones currently on the market such as dual Sim support.
