Budget centric Xiaomi Redmi 10A now available in Kenya at Sh12,899, packs a 5000mAh battery

Xiaomi’s “A” series devices have been in existence for the longest time we can remember, they’ve been associated with decent number of features while maintaining a budget portfolio. This is no different to the recently unveiled Xiaomi Redmi 10A which is now officially available in Kenya to fans as well as people looking for something in that direction.

I remember a while back when the Redmi 7A was something I could easily advise anyone with a tiny budget to get, it was because of a reasonable combination of features while sticking its gut to an affordable price tag. Fast forward to 2022, the recently announced Xiaomi Redmi 10A improves even further on areas that needed to align itself with post-covid error, a big battery and somewhat better processor to make its case.

And while there’s actually no proven benefits of onboarding the Xiaomi’s ecosystem, the company is adamant, the recently announced Redmi 10A was the way forward for those who might be interested in that sort of thing. The device has some interesting features too besides the impressive large capacity battery under the hood.

Xiaomi Redmi 10A features

There’s a large 6.53-inches display panel for your content consumption addiction, dual backside snappers pegged at 13 MP and 2 MP, a large 5000 mAh internal battery that also supports up to 10W charging and finally an MTK Helio G25 Octa-core processor, the company says will handle almost any tasks that you might have.

Consumers will have three variants with different amount of RAM to choose from

  • 2GB + 32GB at Ksh. 12,899/-
  • 3GB + 64GBS at Ksh.14,499/-
  • 4GB + 128GB at 16,499/-

And of course the internal storage can further be expanded with a handy MicroSD card up to 1TB of additional storage.
