Josva Decals Signs Distribution Deal With Chandarana Supermakets for its Toilet Decorations

Kenyan startup, Josva Decals, which has pioneered innovative washroom grooming solutions for homes and offices has today received a major boost after signing a distribution partnership deal that will see its signature product, Toilet Decals, retail in Chandarana Supermarkets countrywide. Toilet Decals are professionally designed, hygienic, removable, re-usable, waterproof decorations for your toilet, bath-tubs and bathroom sinks providing a modern way to spruce up your washroom area.

This partnership comes on the backdrop of the startup’s participation in the recently concluded Global Entrepreneurship Summit and reflects the strong commitment by Chandarana Supermarket to support local manufacturers.

Speaking at the signing, Josva Decals Founder, Joram Chepchieng welcomed the move terming it as an on-time lift that will see clients across the country easily access the product that is increasingly gaining momentum.

“With Chandarana Supermarket as our distributor, we will increase our presence in the market which expands our network of sales and support personnel. Being in close proximity to where our customers are is a key initiative towards achieving that,” said Joram.

“Our customers have been requesting that our products be taken closer to them. We are extremely happy to be fulfilling their wishes through this partnership that represents the results of our journey and the future of this brand” he added.

The partnership between Chandarana and Josva Decals underpins the rallying call of “Buy Kenya Build Kenya” and goes a long way in benefiting local entrepreneurs while providing customers with unique, locally manufactured and relevant products.

On his part, Chandarana Supermarket Director Mr. Anil Thakkar said “This is a very exciting opportunity for us to work with such a novel brand, which shares our commitment to quality and service. We have seen many entrepreneurs venturing into business with attractive products that we need to dig into and embrace”.

The idea of creating Toilet Decals was borne by the need to revolutionize and give life to areas of a house that have been neglected over time and Josva Decals hopes to venture into a whole range of interior design branding in the near future.

“Our participation at the GES was instrumental because we got invaluable advice from seasoned business people who have experience in running enterprises. We also learnt of new avenues of getting affordable raw materials and access to capital that will help us in the long run”, added Joram.

Josva Decals has invested heavily in this venture and will continue looking at ways to implement new technology and improve the user experience for clients as well as expanding both the product offering and providing more fun, funky and artistic decorative designs and patterns.

“We hope this is the start of more partnership to come and we will be pursuing opportunities in Kenya and across the region by introducing new products and designs as we move to a whole inclusive toilet solutions model”, said Joram.
