Nairobi, October 2012,Wunderman, one of Kenya’s leading Digital and Direct Agencies, is proud to announce the successful completion of a Google AdWords training by two of their employees.
Esther Maina and Serah Njengaattended the training that was held at the Google offices. The presentation ceremony was held at the Young and Rubicam Brands offices along Mombasa Road and was attended by more than 30 employees of Young and Rubicam Brands Kenya. Google Adwords is a system developed by Google to assist in marketing products or services in the Google Search Engine, and its affiliate sites, via the use of a placed text ad that appears when people search for phrases related to your offering. These appear as a “sponsored link”.
The system is a “pay per click” system, which means you can dictate where your ad appears through bidding for a series of phrases, but you only pay the amount you have bid for if someone clicks on your ad as a result of a web search.
Speaking of the training, Esther Maina said, “With digital being the new frontier in advertising, it was a great experience having the chance to be trained by the gurus themselves. I learnt lots of interesting things and I am looking forward to working on digital campaigns.”

Ms. Serah Njenga and Ms. Esther Maina, were each presented with Certificates and a Samsung Galaxy Ace for their accomplishment.
