The Thika Huduma Centre in Kiambu County has made an exciting addition to its services, bringing in the expertise of the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB). You know, the guys responsible for those nerve-wracking exams that determine your fate in diploma and professional certificate courses.
Susan Wachira, the Centre Manager, expressed her relief that this move had finally come to fruition. Previously, residents had to endure the tiresome journey to neighboring counties just to get their issues addressed. Can you imagine the hassle? So, it was high time they brought these services closer to the people, sparing them the agony of long trips.
With enthusiasm, Wachira announced, “We’ve already handpicked our team of capable staff to provide the much-needed services. They’ve been deployed and are currently undergoing training. Once they’re ready to roll, we’ll start offering services like registration, examination administration, and addressing any inquiries our clients may have. Oh, and folks, please remember that exams will take place annually in June and December. As for the charges, we’ll let you know later when KASNEB shares their service charter.”
This development is certainly a welcome solution for many students and professionals who’ve been grappling with the glitches on KASNEB’s online portal. Eunice Wairimu, a student at Thika Institute of Business Studies, spoke about the frustration they faced. “You know, the website is generally reliable. But, occasionally, unexpected circumstances strike, like technical errors causing the portal to go offline. It can be incredibly infuriating. That’s when the good old manual process provided at the Huduma Centre becomes a lifesaver,” she shared, thankful for the convenience.
Over the years, Huduma centres have been the go-to place for various government services, lending a helping hand to countless Kenyans. These centers are diligently supervised by managers who also happen to be Assistant County Commissioners. They’ve been deployed by the Ministry of Interior and the administration of the national government. So, you can rest assured that they’ve got the official stamp of approval.
All in all, this new addition of KASNEB services at the Thika Huduma Centre is a step forward in making life easier for the people. No more long journeys and no more online hiccups. It’s all about bringing that personal touch and convenience right to your doorstep.
