LG Electronics East Africa Offers Valentine’s Day Discounts on Select Appliances and Electronics

LG Electronics East Africa is offering significant discounts on select appliances and electronics to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In partnership with distributor Opalnet and other nationwide electronics dealers, customers can save up to 16% on products ranging from refrigerators and televisions to soundbars and dishwashers.

LG’s Marketing Manager, Changhyun Kim, stated that the promotion aligns with the company’s 2023 strategy of building accessibility and affordability for customers. He said, “We are committed to making life more enjoyable for our customers and spreading the love this February through our appliances.”

Among the products on offer, customers purchasing the 163L single-door refrigerator will receive a 12% discount, saving them Kshs 7,000. The side-by-side refrigerator with an intelligent Inverter Compressor and Multi Air Flow capabilities will see a price drop of Kshs 40,000, a 16% savings.

For those looking to make kitchen tasks easier, the energy-efficient 14 Place Setting dishwasher with QuadWash technology is available at a 17% discount, saving up to Kshs 20,000. Additionally, the 65-inch LG UHD 4K TV with AI ThinQ and the 86-inch LG UHD 4K Cinema Screen are also on sale, offering savings of Kshs 21,000 and UGsh 28,512,106, respectively.

Customers who purchase LG refrigerators and washing machines from LG OPALNET branded shops during February will have the opportunity to win a romantic holiday for two. By sharing a photo of their purchase on LG’s social media platforms, shoppers of other home electronics also have a chance to win shopping vouchers and various giveaways. Pictures with the most engagement, as determined by comments and likes, will be awarded, with the winners being revealed on February 25th.

These discounts are available in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania and can be found in all LG Brandshops and leading electronics outlets. The promotion fits with LG’s 2030 ESG blueprint, the Better Life Plan, which aims to improve customer experiences, protect the environment, and make products and services more accessible for the disabled and elderly.
