Samsung has been consistently active in providing system updates to its various devices. The company recently released the update to One UI 5.0, which is based on the latest version of Android, to a number of smartphones in its Galaxy A, M, and XCover series.
One of the first models to receive the update is the Galaxy A04S, with build numbers A047FXXU1BVK5 for the “F” model and A047MUBU1BVK5 for the “M” model. The update is currently available in several Asian and European countries, and includes the November 2022 security fixes as well as the updated One UI version.
The 4G version of the Galaxy A13, as well as the Galaxy A04, are also receiving the Android update in various regions. The Exynos 850-powered models SM-A135F and SM-A135M have the update available as software version A135FXXU2BVL2 and A135MUBU2BVL2, respectively. The MediaTek Helio G80-powered SM-A137F model also has the update, with a build number of A137FXXU1BVL1. All of these updates include the November 2022 security fixes.
The Galaxy M12, released in 2021 and powered by the Exynos 850, has also received the Android 13 update. The update has a build number of M127FXXU3CVL2 and includes the November 2022 security fixes.
Samsung has stated that the rollout of One UI 5.0 will be completed by the end of the year, and claims that this has been its quickest One UI implementation to date. As of December 9, the company has successfully distributed One UI 5.0 to over 46 devices in less than two months.
