Nokia Lumia 925 Comes to Kenya with a KES.51500 Price Tag

The Lumia 925 is now available in Kenya after Nokia officially announced its presence across East Africa. It’s one of Nokia’s recent premium devices that features windows phone operating system with an impressive metal design and comes with Nokia’s latest PureView camera innovation onboard as well as other windows phone compatible third party apps. Nokia has remained adamant to continue using Windows OS for its premium devices despite pleas from users who wanted a variety of platforms including Google’s android. It’s now obvious that we may never see an android powered smartphone from Nokia after all especially after its acquisition by Microsoft.

After the announcement, Nokia Lumia 925 should hit Kenyan, Ugandan and Tanzanian retail shops immediately with a price tag of KES 51500, 1500000 and 960000 respectively. Credited for its advanced lens technology plus innovative imaging software, Nokia Lumia 925 captures best low light images as well as clearer and sharper videos. Lumia 925 comes with Nokia’s smart camera application right from the box; tasked with offering an easier way to capture ten images at once and or editing them anytime afterwards. Unlike Samsung’s premium devices which are purely housed in a plastic casing, the Lumia 925 has an aluminum frame around its 4.5inch display panel. Despite the metallic touch on its frame closely resembling that of iPhone 4S Lumia 925 is pleasantly slimmer and lighter than close rivals and its older 920 sibling.

The General Manager for Nokia East Africa Mr. Bruce Howe said the company will continue building on the Lumia portfolio at every price point across East Africa. He also added that Lumia 925 which can now be acquired here in Kenya for KES.51500, is a beautiful high-end smartphone offering amazing imaging technology and applications. It will provide premium experiences that consumers have come to love and expect from Nokia Lumia smartphones.
